Q: What is Mobile Framerz?
Mobile Framerz allows you to mash your photos with fun novelty frames and send them to yourself or friends. By simply uploading a photo and selecting a frame you can create a fun image to send via email and/or MMS (to a phone).
Q: How are people using Mobile Framerz?
People use Mobile Framerz to create custom graphics for their phone, IM icons, and web pages. Some people just create fun images to share with friends!
Q: What if I don't have a photo to use on my computer?
No photo? No problem. Just use your AT&T camera phone! Take a photo and send the photo as a message to 5454 ($0.99 + standard data charges). We'll reply with a message containing a URL (link) to your photo. Go to the URL and you can create a framer right from your phone! You can select a frame, move/resize your photo, and send.
Q: How do I know if my phone (or my friend's phone) can receive a Mobile Framerz image?
Mobile Framerz sends images via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). MMS is how camera phone photos are sent. If your phone, or your friend's phone, has a camera - then you can receive MMS.
Q: What image file types does Mobile Framerz support?
You can upload any JPEG (.JPG), GIF, or BMP photo.
Q: My photo is too large! What do I do?
A: All uploaded photos must be less than 3MB in size. To reduce the size of
a photo, just open the image in any image editor on your computer. Select
Image > Stretch/Skew and reduce the Horizontal and Vertical size to 50% or
so. Save image as a JPEG and you should be good to go.

Q: Can I forward a Mobile Framerz image to other people?
If you have a Mobile Framerz image on your phone and if your phone is MMS enabled, you can forward files from your mobile phone to others by sending a multimedia message with the Mobile Framerz image as an attachment. If you have questions on how to compose an MMS message from your mobile phone, consult the user guide that came with your mobile device or contact your wireless operator.
Q: How much does it cost?
Each Mobile Framerz image costs either $1.99 or $0.99 to send. The $1.99 price point is for licensed, branded content $0.99 is for original content we created. This one-time charge enables you to send to both an email address and a phone. Standard data rates apply to any Mobile Framerz image received. Standard data rates also apply should you choose to forward any image.
Q: Where is my Framerz message (it was sent)?
A: No worries - you'll get it (if the correct email or AT&T phone number was entered)! For email, make sure you check your Junk Mail folder or SPAM box. Firewalls sometimes block emails with attachments. For MMS, messages sent to phones can sometimes be delayed for any number of reasons (e.g. network traffic, your signal strength) but it'll come through. Don't forget - AT&T only!

Yes, Framerz works on all smart phones. Just make sure you send your photo to 5454 as an MMS.
Q: Does Framerz work on the Apple iPhone?
Not yet. The iPhone does not support MMS but we're working on a way to let iPhone users utilize the web version on their device
